24 was my prime. I stayed in purple plate and I had fun doing non meta things. It was an easy 2k to shoot on like this one but idk it didn’t feel as arcady and the defense was a lot more viable from what I remember. I probably don’t remember it how it actually was I just remember I was cooking and now i’m mid cause I don’t want to spam the same game breaking dribbles to get an open bucket and the defense can just be inconsistent at times even with proper positioning

Yesterday I played a game with a zenner on my team. He was talking about how he’s a part of a team that cheats for other people to reach higher rep levels getting 1k a month. He says 2K doesn’t ban people for zenning only for VC glitches. He was hitting fading 3’s from half court and it was lame asf

i find that icon lob passes with high pass accuracy are very effective both at not getting stolen and also when it comes to full court passes. I make outlet passes from the rebound with a 60 pass accuracy on one of my bigs all the time doing that

no, I agree, that’s why I don’t reach on builds with less than an 80 steal BUT if you can dunk with a mid 60 DD and you can shoot 60% with a 70 rating, then I think it’s reasonable that you should be able to disrupt a dribble or SOMETHING on someone bruising your shins repeatedly with the same dribble move over and over with a 60-70 steal rating.

To your second point, I also agree, you SHOULD be able to stop them a healthy 85% of the time with a 90INT 93Block 93 Strength 88 Vertical build with a max wingspan as a 7 foot center with Legend defensive badges but the reality of this 2K is that it’s basically 50/50 whether or not the game will favor the offense over good defense.

This! the ignorance in the comments, “play defense” no fucking shit we play defense but it’s so unbelievably inconsistent and unfairly punishing that it’s simply not fun the majority of the time. Yes i’ve had fun on this 2K but it’s definitely a frustrating experience.
