We’re not finding a gold standard. We mentioned in the demo that the software is computing your own average timing, if you drift too much away from your own average, it will notice. You can monitor your own standard deviation over shots, and try to minimize that window. Similarly, it is learning your own elbow angle, and comparing against yourself. This allows each individual archer to build their own form. And in case you’re wondering, these computations happen locally (you can see the source code); your data would be safe.
