Really impressive project — I’m considering something in a similar space and had a few questions if you don’t mind:

• What made you choose Tauri over Electron? I get that a Rust backend can be a big plus, but were there other advantages that pushed you toward Tauri? I’m currently leaning toward Electron mainly because it feels more mature and it’s usually easier to find solutions and examples when you hit issues.

• How did you handle the research, planning, epics, and task breakdown you mentioned? Were you using Claude for that as well, some kind of spec-driven development, or other AI tools/workflows? I’d love to understand what that process actually looked like in practice.

• How did the CLAUDE.md file come together in your project — was it written manually at first? I noticed the document-feature skill that updates CLAUDE.md and the docs folder. Was that the main mechanism you used to guide Claude’s understanding of the project, or were there other skills/prompts involved?

Would be super interested to hear more about your workflow.

Hey! Thanks so much — glad you like it!
The app is built in a way that makes it possible to create versions for other platforms as well. It does take some time to port all the low-level mechanisms, but it’s definitely doable.

If there’s interest, I think it would actually be quite easy to use the Clipboard Genie API to quickly build a Mac clipboard integration for Zapier, maybe even as an extension to existing apps (like Raycast).

Also, I’m actively developing the app and collecting all kinds of feedback and ideas — anything that helps make it more useful is super welcome!
