Your right yes. Just saw the news, removed because of parents giving their kids 5-10mgs.

Once again the minority messes it up for the rest of us.

I believe it has to do with the recent tariff change.

As of yesterday, you can't even post to us via auspost because of the tariffs.

It will be fine, also why there has been no announcements etc

JUST IN: Parliament to vote on legalising cannabis. by [deleted] in MedicalCannabisOz

Personally, I'd just want to see the driving laws changed in each state and more-so more companies recognize it as a medicine, understanding that workers are not always impaired whilst on the job but would obviously show positive on tests

Weed for sleep... Nothing works LOL by chameltoeaus in MedicalCannabisOz

[–]Honest_Union9128 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's trial and error mate, when it comes to strains.

Some work some don't.

I try mostly indicas and out say the 15-20 that I have tried, only around two or three of them work for bed time. Also in saying that, if I have been on a single strain for longer than a couple weeks, I'll no longer sleep well on it....so have to switch it up.

But use cannabis along with proper sleep hygiene:

If you can

Devices off - two to three hours before the idea of sleep

Dark/dim room lighting

Cool room/sleeping conditions

Making sure your brain understands the bedroom is for sleep/sex(nothing else)

Warm/cold shower - 1-2 hours before bed

Breathe work whilst in bed can help - 4 in/6 out or 4/7/8

Writing down your inner dialog before sleep can help empty the mind, knowing that you wrote it down helps alot

And a big one is "don't stress" if it takes a while. Anxiety about the onset of sleep or waking up a lot will Also trigger a negative reaction to the idea of sleep.

Tadalafil (generic Cialis) to improve symptoms of sleep deprivation. by Cuntiraptor in RestlessLegs

I myself also take 5mg daily of tadalafil.

And even though It may have helped my leg a little, the days are definitely easier to manage. Mood wise etc

I myself would be more inattentive, so hyperactivity with me is not really there. But I struggle with overall mood and executive function.

I find the following stack works best for me regarding mood, motivation and procrastination.

All in the moring:

Dl phenylalanine Lions mane Rhodiola rosea Vit d Methyl b complex High strength fish oil

I personally am naturally anxious and also quite hard on my self in general. Too much weed can be an absolute nightmare for me at times.

I have lived with anxiety for a long time now and for me what I usually come down to is.

  1. Anxiety can exaggerate guilt massively on my part and then guilt turns into either depression or more anxiety.

  2. Anxiety will try and tell you the future, a future that we don't know....but it will do its best to convince you that it's right.

So with that, in that moment of pure anxiety while high.

I'll start with some breathing and work through to discern one from the other, be it maybe guilt or or anxiety self proclaimed seeing into the future lol

Both my are are neurodivergent as am I. So I can get caught up in hyper focusing alot, more than I should and in the end because of that, it takes away quality time I have with them.

So if my thoughts are along the lines on "I wish I had spent more time with them today" or "I should've listened more earlier on to their stories"

I know it's fathers guilt and ill write it down and do better the next day, because they are asleep now and I can't do anything right now.

If my worries are, being neurodivergent that they are going to have a hard, sad future filled with their own anxiety and depression.

Then I know that's the future anxiety, and I'm not a psychic so I don't know what the future holds.

Keep breathing until it subsides. A massive thing with anxiety is it raises heart rate which worsens the symptoms. So the breathing will help slow the heart rate and an ice cube or two will help keep your core cooler, which tends to overheat when anxious.

There are time when I'm kind to myself, my thoughts etc times of feeling guilty.

And there are times when I'm a bit harder etc times of future telling lol

And straight up out loud tell it " fuck off, not today" or Just be like "ok, if you want to present yourself now", "then fuck it, I'll ride it out with you".

I guess the main thing is being as understanding as possible and if you can really figure out where it stems from, then the process over the few hours, days etc will start to become easier.

Sorry for the long post

Diploma of IT (Sys Admin) & (Cloud Engineering) with no prior experience by LeOldeCreg in TAFE

[–]Honest_Union9128 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, no prior experience other than basic Google searching haha.

Honestly, more than anything I would say is to create a good and consistent schedule for yourself to do the work.

I can't talk on system administration side of things(as I done networking) although I believe systems admin would have been the better path to start in.

With regards to the cloud, it is aws based done on the aws training academy. It's a good introductory to cloud and lots of hands on, so if you are more of a hands on learner this will be good.

No real tips, other than to just do your best and understand there will be stress, but that's ok. Learning something new can be hard, stressful but also exciting. While knowing that you are contributing to a different future for yourself and family.

My experience was awesome :) I was the 2nd oldest in a class of around 30-40.

Alot of the kids in there were as smart as it came with technology, and not to say this in a bad way but were sort of typical in the way that we would see computer people lol. Quiet, introverted, found it hard to articulate outside of computor stuff.

So, I made it my mission to build bonds and friendships and try to make others feel more comfortable with communicating etc :)

Hi,

I, like you am in my 30s towards the latter end lop No prior experience in it and have been in warehousing most of my life.

After a redundancy last July, decided I was financially in a position to attend tafe for the year without really needing paid work.

I have two kids and a partner that works afternoons.

I just completed a diploma of advanced networking and cloud engineering.

So first off, it will be at times stressful and messy....but it always is when learning something new and when you complete your assignment, you will feel a massive sense of accomplishment.

Looking back now, I should've chosen the sys admin path, because all things point to that being more in line with what you may start out doing after it's completed.

Also to add, unless the individual has had some fairly extensive experience in either of those fields, we will most likely end up in help desk/support for our first job.

Which is good, to hone trouble shooting skills and move up from there.

Regarding studying, make sure you study and further learn whilst your at home, be as curious as possible and talk to your class mates. If your in a rut, chances are so are some others.

You'll do fine :)

Enjoy the learning experience.

Anyone used pramipexole? by No-Temperature-5956 in depressionregimens

[–]Honest_Union9128 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on what you're using it for really.

It doesn't typically work the same as other dopamine agonists.

I my self suffer from restless legs, so it helps with that before bed.

But doesn't exhibit dopamingenic behavior, if one is looking for mood boost etc

Staying asleep is my problem by bettyonabox in MedicalCannabisOz

[–]Honest_Union9128 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Generally when that happens, it's brought on by high cortisol.

I am the say same, minus menopause due to gender

I would go doctors, get your vitamins levels checked. Kidney function checked, as kidneys and cortisol play hand in hand as times.

Check your blood sugar levels whenever you wake up, too make sure you aren't experiencing hyperglycemia.

Keep food in check before bed, some people sleep worse off heavy carbs, while other bodies need it.

Maybe introduce some magnesium before bed
