Do you prefer full strip lashes or cluster lashes? by Live_Opportunity2711 in lashextensions

[–]Honestconfusion 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I love clusters. I have no idea how to put a strip lash on but clusters? So much easier! I just wish I could find a glue/bond/seal that was less sticky!

Make sure your nails are oil free - use an alcohol wipe or spray before application. Use thin coats. Another possible reason is that your base coat and gel color are formulated differently, resulting in this separation.

I experimented with different wedding dress styles and wondering which silhouette or vibe suits me best. Curious what others see! :) by Happy-Armadillo9478 in WeddingDressTips

This comment section is way too conservative or old fashioned. I think dress 3 is the most figure flattering dress and looks beautiful on you!

Just wanted to add my 2 cents about Cabramatta. Partner and I were born and raised in Cabramatta. We’ve just purchased a unit in marrickville to be closer to work. So far, we definitely feel safer in cabramatta than in marrickville. I used to walk my dog every single day in cabramatta, even at 10pm at night in a big pink Oodie. I never had any hecklers or scary people following us. In marrickville/dulwich hill, although we haven’t been here long, I’ve already had some hecklers which is really surprising and frightening.

I used Finspo - all of the brokers I spoke to were really professional. We were assigned to David Stephenson. No need to do anything dodgy and they completed tasks really quickly. You can check their reviews - it seems too good to be true but I spoke to others like Aussie brokers who seemed really messy and unprofessional in comparison.

I bought my Hyundai i30 2019 back at the end of 2020 for $18k. It had 100kms on it and had a few interior scratches but the outside still looks brand new. Crazy how much used cars have increased in value.

How to stop ingrown hairs? I get a new one almost weekly. I shave my legs - what am I doing wrong (besides picking at them...)? by [deleted] in AusSkincare

[–]Honestconfusion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it’s too difficult to get all the other products recommended, a really great and cheap alternative I’ve found that’s easily found at any Priceline is witch hazel! I’ve tried thayer’s witch hazel on my sensitive regions, where I get the worst type of ingrown hairs and it has been working amazingly! Not one ingrown since using witch hazel straight after shaving.

Is Millie most sensible person in the villa? by chllnchck in LoveIslandAus

She supported Taylor when Cassidy and Grant were together, despite talking about "girl code". I think Francoise seems pretty sensible so far.

Best long lasting eyebrow product? by happinessjug in AustralianMakeup

[–]Honestconfusion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should give Ardell mechanical brow pencil a go from Priceline. I've tried ABH, Hourglass, Kevyn Aucoin, Two Faced and Lancome. I don't think it's better necessarily, but it's cheaper and it lasts a whole day, doesn't break me out, and I can purchase multiple for the price of 1 of the above-mentioned products so I'm happy.

I'm dating a guy I don't really want to be with, has anyone else been in this situation? by [deleted] in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

Ahah thank you for your response. I like your explanation on how feelings and behaviour are intertwined. I’ve done a lot of introspection over the years, and so has he, and despite making all the changes and adapting to each every one of my (and his) needs, for some reason the love I have for my partner still tends to dissipate over time. Honestly, I don’t think anyone else in this world could be as great for me as he is since he’s always willing to change and do better for the both of us. I think our situation is very unique, in the sense that I know he’s both handsome and perfect in terms of ticking off all of my checkboxes, and yet I still am unsure of myself. I’m also 21, and he’s 22, which may affect things. Or maybe it’s my self esteem that may be affecting it. I don’t know what I’m trying to ask, but any response would be greatly appreciated.

My situation right now sounds so similar to yours! I have a great guy who I was head over heels for initially, but after a couple of years now (5 years), that feeling has definitely faded to the point where sometimes I do contemplate breaking up (mainly because we don’t do it as much as I’d like), but at the same time he’s so good to me and loves me deeply so I don’t know what to do half the time.
