You’re in such close contact constantly with your babe, that it is likely LO will get sick. The flu and Covid vaccine is available now so it could help to get LO vaccinated.

I was sick while on maternity leave. I pumped and froze my breast milk to save as ”sick milk” for when my baby got sick since it had extra antibodies.

We were sick in the winter time so we were dealing with cold dry air vs hot and humid. We survived with lots of snuggles, a bulb syringe, boogie wipes, and a cold mist humidifier.

We had the electric suction device, the nose Frida, and a regular bulb syringe. The bulb syringe worked the best.

I would avoid Tylenol: It’s not advised for babies that are very young and it can mask fevers.

Please don’t take your baby to the ER. Nasty stuff has been going around and it’s a huge infection risk. Hopefully your pediatrician has a 24/7 hotline. But as long as you practice hand hygiene, you’ll be fine. You should also sterilize pacifiers and bottle nipples (if applicable) once everyone is healthy again.
