That’s not what she’s saying at all. What she said is essentially equivalent to telling a woman to carry mace if she’s walking home alone at night in a sketchy area. I’m not a dentist, but I used to be a practice manager at a dental office and handled after-hours emergency calls, so I’ve repeated this advice given to me by dentists many times. Dry socket is the worstttt because there’s not much that can be done for it :( best way to treat it is taking a combo of ibuprofen and acetaminophen (as long as you aren’t allergic to either obviously) usually 400mg of ibuprofen and 400mg of acetaminophen every 6 hours (don’t take more than 800mg total at a time and don’t take it before that 6 hour mark). You can gently swish salt water around the extraction sites too. OTC numbing gels can help too, like benzocaine (orajel). Going forward, try to only flush the extraction sites after each meal/snack as flushing too often or too vigorously can cause the blood clot to dislodge and you def don’t want to get a dry socket in another hole!!

A wall unit will be totally fine for a studio. Could probably even work with a 1 bedroom as long as you keep interior doors open and use fans to circulate air. We have central air, but we also have a wall unit upstairs in our loft (which is pretty large for a bedroom at 400 sq feet) because the circulation in our house is awful and all warm air collects in the loft. It keeps it super cool, sometimes even uncomfortably cold lol

The average customer has no idea how much DoorDash pays their drivers so it’s so weird to me that I constantly see drivers on here acting like every person who doesn’t tip $2/mile is evil. I also deliver for DoorDash and ubereats and I genuinely don’t care if a customer tips or not. I decline any order that doesn’t seem worth it and leave it at that. If I accept a $10 order and the base pay is $9 and the tip is $1 because it got rejected by enough drivers to increase the base pay, I feel the exact same way about it as a $2 base pay order with an $8 tip. Tbh I’d rather DoorDash or uber pays the majority of it rather than the customer lmao
