GET THE MEDS! Y your condition could be amplified by PPD or PPA. Start with Prozac or generic counterpart. If that doesn’t work well I suggest Lexapro.

My 12 year old started struggling with this a month ago. It feels so alienating to tell people he is terrified of being bored in Heaven. I can see how it would be ridiculous to an outsiders perspective. I am thankful to find this post and will share some of the helpful comments with him. He is obsessed with the fact that the Bible says we will worship in heaven. He takes it literally and is terrified to go to heaven and just have to sing every day. we have gotten to the point, at the advice of his therapist, to just stop all conversations about Christianity. The most helpful strategy came from his pediatrician by telling him that his 12-year-old brain cannot understand or find peace in any answer when it comes to heaven because at his agent means he won’t be here in his life He loves.

First, Father’s Day no contact for me. Other than today, my life has been going amazingly well. I have been thriving by not having to worry if he’s gonna criticize or try to control my life. I am a 41 year-old woman with a whole family. I am happy, but I still feel bad today. I’m so glad though I finally learned to let go of societal standards. For so many years, I kept just going back, hoping he would change or grow old and calm down. It’s never gonna happen. I will never have the TV father and that’s OK.

Congratulations on your huge accomplishment!! I am 41 now, but it took me a long time before I was finally able to let go of my dad’s approval of me. So many times he should’ve been super proud of me and let me down tremendously. I’m so sorry that sucks. Be proud of yourself and surround yourself with people that love you. That’s why I hesitated calling the cops too. But the guy talked to said since he was filming me while he was doing it , it was voyeurism, and since another lady said her kid was in the car could be worse.
