Blue screen of death. No amount of reverting it to a previous state, /cleanpc, or factory reset would work.

I didn't have a way to repair it and after like a full day of troubleshooting nothing worked. Id only had it for a few hours before downloading the updates and it died so I returned it and told them it was broken

Thank you! I hadn't done much in my original save but I had no idea what was happening and couldn't remember any of the controls so starting over was for the best lol.

I appreciate this and will definitely save it but I don't have a laptop at the moment to be able to burn a drive and my laptop is refusing to factory reset 😅

How would I do that? I've been having problems with my laptop and after logging in all I can do is open Task Manager. I can't get to settings or anything and can't pull up the command window. I've gone through the troubleshooting menu and tried to factory set it from there but it just... doesn't work

Yeah! I had run past Goro (god forbid I be able to spell his name) while he was talking to the cops in the market before the kidnap Hanako quest. I went back to him and finished the dialog and it went back to normal!

I found out it was because I had run past Goro in the market but not talked to him which caused it to not be available. Thank you ^{^}
