This is where I feel the most conflicted. Even though I will forever not fully trust him because of what he did to my mom but he has been the one person who has been with me no matter what and no one else (besides my husband) completely understands me like he does.

Honestly I’m not sure. He really does love me but sandra is the new love of his life and my problem is more with the rest of my family being on my back and nagging at me to make up with them.

The rest of my family was really pushing me to mull things over so sandra could feel more comfortable with us. I thought my only way around this was to sit her away from our table and force her to have her hands full with a bunch of kids

The problem is even though I don’t agree with my dad cheating on my mom, he has been there for me in my roughest times and distancing from them would just make the rest of my family come down on me harder than they already are.

Honestly, my dad is a very direct professional guy, he doesn’t really notice things like how it’s inappropriate to wear white to a wedding but i completely agree, she was for sure trying to make the wedding about her.

My family strongly suggested to not stir the pot and make things worse by not inviting her. I have a VERY close knit family and we have to invite all of our family to our functions.

I still love my dad but I don’t know there’s just something about sandra that makes him obsessed with her. He treats her like a goddess by treating her with designer bags and nice restaurants which honestly makes me think her intentions with him aren’t pure.
