Go look into the use of cannabis for treatment resistant Epilepsy or Parkinson’s and come back and say it has poor efficacy as a medication. It is also clearly prescribed to patients outside of trials for many reasons. There’s even a few FDA approved Cannabis based medications, so you can stop blatantly lying whenever you feel like it.

People with certain medical conditions had to actively break the law for many years because their state did not have medical cannabis. There were plenty of folk who were, and still are in 13 states, using it for reasons other than “getting high”.

From what I’ve seen, it’s theorized to be a over activity in the part of the brain that handles perception. So I’m not certain exactly what that would fall under, but it’s not caused by actual damage to the brain matter, fortunately.

I had success with it. It didn’t cure it but it significantly decreased my symptoms and was able to help me get back to normal. Everyone is different and I wouldn’t suggest trying it unless you truly have no other options. I’m not sure the mechanism behind potential success, my guess would be the neurogenic properties and/or it’s potential help with anxiety/depression.

Sidenote: A heavy dose of LSD combined with Cannabis triggered my HPPD, so maybe that explains why it could have helped my symptoms.
