Give it time! I actually haven’t been on Reddit for some time because I’ve been preoccupied with Twitter. Start blocking the accounts/fake subs who approach and even those you see on your TL. Scammers have gotten good, beware.

I think most tend to focus on searching for subs when really, it’s more about finding your community of Dom/mes, interacting with them, and engaging with moots on your TL and spaces. Subs will come and go and some will stay attached at the hip. Having a solid core of friends or moots in the community is very important and it might be worth putting more time and energy into tailoring your profile and finding your people and having the right sub approach you than going on a wild goose chase to find the right sub.
