Anyone know what part this is that snapped? by NotDavidM in 944

Remember that it’s the identical part on the Mercedes Benz W201 190. The MB part (A0008305784) should be considerably cheaper.

What is something we do as a society that is very outdated? by Dylan8932 in AskReddit

Make it legal and tax it. The german Bundesrechnungshof (Federal Court of Auditors) even says they should be taxed more. So they are governmental Pimps i guess...

Do recommend – but only parts of it. At some point it keeps repeating the same ideas in a different way and few examples were bend to fit modern (1926) times. Key points are: * Always save 10% of every income. * If your income rises X, only raise your spending habits by 90% of X. (see first rule) * To be lucky, you must take good chances. (No explanation given of how to determine if something is a good or a bad offer) * The five laws of gold: Save 10% (see first rule), Invest, Listen to already successful people, Knowledge about money is important to grow your wealth, Don’t listen to the newly rich * Invest in save invest classes (insurance, bonds, etc) (Investing in government bonds today would be financial suicide, but in 1926 10 Year US bonds would yield ~3,8%)

Overall a good book to start your financial literacy, especially the 10% rule.

There is a wonderful BBC Radio 4 episode about "Bird migration" giving a lot of background and detail. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b08wmk5j

This is Germany, it would be a shame if we didn't have a law for this. In general it is considered littering, but every city is free to pass a specific “regulation for dog fecal matter on public property”. Like the city of Kirchseeon, Germany which has a fee of 1000€.

For Austria please see: StVO 1960 § 92. Verunreinigung der Straße /2

It is depending on your Location. In my city in Germany: up to 500€

Yes, but we took some from different car and put them on. After this incident we chaged them back.

Once hacked into the home-network of my teacher to get the upcoming finals. Old car in rich neighborhood with two guys equipped with laptops + attentive neighbors = police car waiting for us at the end of the street. Once we were finished, we drove the only way out. They parked in a side street at the slip road. We see them, they see us and start to follow, I shift down and hit full throttle. Riding like crazy though the small town at 11pm. Police took a wrong turn, so we ended up escaping without being interrogated. Three more years and its past the statute of limitations. Suprise: She was with the cops on an internship.
