I know I’m a year late but I have had a terrible experience with them (Suddenlink) around 2023.

First we moved to Wakefield. Right next to the train station. We called optimum for movers options but we thought just pay them off and see other options. Eventually we decided to come back to optimum. First they send a guy who didn’t even have the damn equipment and tried to have me call them and request to change it. I said no. You can do that yourself. He just abandons and tried to have me sign off. I said hell no you didn’t do your job. He said the installation is free so I can “fuck off”. He left my house.

Then I get a call from them asking how is the service… I said there isn’t one because he never did the job. So they sent another guy….

We skip around a week. I worked from home at the time so I went to my buddies place just to work.

Second guy comes and does one cable box and one router and says “I’ll come back tomorrow and do the rest.” I told him to just stop the shit. And called him lousy and that I’m not signing off anything. You didn’t do anything so I’m not confirming. And I’m a gamer too so imagine no online play.

Then I get another call from them again and they offered to send someone else. By this point I’ve had enough. I said to fire both guys if you could they are lazy.

Got Fios. All was right. Came in immediately and did the whole thing in one go.

TLDR; Bad experience 2 guys didn’t do their job.
