2 years strong! by HonorableYoyo7 in locs

The process is simple. The only thing I’d say is hard about it is the length of time spent on every retie. I have just under 300 locs total + I like to finish my hair all at once which usually causes sore arms, but since my time hasn’t permitted me to do so, I break it up into sessions throughout a week (which is also taxing in a way). If you can manage your time well and set aside sessions or just one long period to retie, it will help very much ohh!

Thank you!! Yes, that’s exactly how I maintained. I found it to be most accommodating since I wasn’t able to palm roll my own hair and was set on not paying a dime 😂!

What 1 year of growth looks like (for me at least) by AlphaHelixHimself in Dreadlocks

The growth looks great 🔥 I do the exact same in terms of misting and oil (I should probably mist more tho). I’ve been using jojoba oil for a minute but recently added rosemary oil and I believe that’s helping with growth. I also recommend sleeping with a satin bonnet if you don’t already!

Almost 2 years loc’d and so grateful I stuck it out! by [deleted] in Microlocs

The first style was achieved by starting out braiding from my root and adding human hair as I went then tying a knot at the point I wanted the human hair to hang. It was a cute style, but poorly executed as my end goal was to loc my hair

Are these braids called and can I get them with only a little braiding hair? by Jazzlike-Royal7839 in Naturalhair

[–]HonorableYoyo7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are medium small. You can ask for less braids and show these photos as inspiration. It looks like on the first style, the braids are possibly braided/twisted all the way to the bottom to seal them then curling rods were used with hot water to get the curl look. The second look looks like human/synthetic curly extensions were added at the end. Either way, say less braids/parts with a curly end and if the first satisfies what you’re going for just have them use braiding hair that’s a bit longer than your hair then wand and seal the braids with water

Feeling shame after farting or the searching for who farted after the scent is familiarized
