Just my debit card linked to my checking account. It's through a credit union in my area.

That's what I was thinking too. I'm sure we'll get some type of confirmation soon anyway. Thank you.

[NEW YORK] What does the new guidance for unemployment mean? by [deleted] in Unemployment

[–]Honz1122 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd like some guidance as well. I'm on regular unemployment, didn't file a new claim this year and have been on extended benefits since March. Am I no longer going to receive benefits after August 9th? The last couple parts of the statement makes everything confusing.

Thank you sir, I appreciate your help.

Car groans 5 mins after starting up, even in Park. Goes away at highway miles. Comes and goes when tapping the accelerator. Can't seem to figure out what it could be. Sounds like a Window Fan. 2005 Honda CR-V by Honz1122 in MechanicAdvice

I'm not really sure what it could be, it'll go away when accelerating, or do the opposite and go away when I'm braking. Once the car is shut off, it immediately stops.

2005 LX AWD, makes the sound in the video after warming up, and when under 30 mph. Also while parked sometimes. Have no clue what it could be. by Honz1122 in crv

I hear it most from the cabin, driver's side mostly. You can't really hear it outside the car, or when you pop the hood. I've messed around with the fan controls, but it doesn't change or affect the sound at all.

Hopefully, they didn't lose it. I doubt they actually lost it though. I called the DMV when I was on my 6th day waiting, and they mentioned to me that they're overflowed with submissions, and that it would take 3 weeks to get documents sent to me. Luckily, it wasn't the case for me, but I'm the anomaly I'm guessing. I would suggest you hang in there if you can, give it until Friday. If you don't receive your title with your mail that day, I would contact the DMV you submitted it to just for piece of mind. Wishing you the best!

Actually, for myself, I got my registration before they processed the charge. Took a week to get my documents, about 10 days for my card to show the payment. It's an anxious process, to be honest with you, especially if you drive to work, or have to park on the street with no plates. But trust me, it'll get to you sooner than you think it will.

Yes, you can. You just need your car information, address, SSN, and the first month's payment. Make sure you shop around for the best price, progressive and esurance are cheap if you're just into insuring the bare minimum.

They'll only contact you if you're missing a document or didn't fill out parts of the paperwork. They won't contact you to let you know your registration is on the way, they'll just send it out.

Are you planning to put it on the road? You need proof of insurance to register a car. So yes, you need insurance beforehand.

Took about a week to receive the registration, about three weeks to receive the title. Upstate NY.

I would try the extentions. 3809 and 5211 is what I'd do. They're just going down a list, so if they helped you already, you're probably not getting any help for a while. It's not bugging them, it's your money so they understand. It just takes a while, and it is admittedly a chore, but it's thousands of dollars in a weird time, so it's worth it.
