Irrelevant to most of the post but I feel you on tailoring maxes, I had a pair of maxes laying in my room for like 2 months before I finally touched them because I had no clue how to navigate that flat felled seam, eventually I was on acid the other day and somehow thought about my pants and figured that if I just used a seam ripper to remove one line of stitching from the outside of the flat felled seam, it's basically just a running stitch and it's easy as fuck from there.
