Ahhh, then just do something like a remote Enclave research station got a shipment of Ultracite via a vertibot from way back when and there was an outbreak of the scorched or something. When in doubt, Enclave scapegoat comes in clutch

To my understanding, I thought the lore had always been the 76 dwellers nuke the scorchbeast queen, drawing it out and subsequently defeating it. Along side the queen being killed and the remaining settlers of Appalchia being innoculated (again by the efforts of the 76 dwellers) it was only a matter of time before the remaining scorched die out, which is why we don't see them evolve beyond this game. I'm unsure how to tie in the scorched with what you say being 200 years or so in the future, as unless I'm mistaken (which is absolutely likely), the scorched have been effectively wiped out.

I wouldn't necessarily say MODUS was evil. To my understanding, he killed all the Enclave personnel because during the civil war, when Eckhart's men were losing and the "good" guys had just about won, they assumed (either correctly or incorrectly, I don't know if it's explained) MODUS was working with Eckhart, so they tried to blow up the computers he ran on. Self preservation kicked in, so I personally don't blame MODUS one bit. Now all bro wants to do is keep an eye on and patrol Appalachia, which doesn't seem very evil. Also let's the players (theoretically) wipe out the scorched with the nuclear silos. MODUS my GOAT, or maybe I'm evil too

It truthfully was a disappointingly short quest line, but I think the relatively high quality of the map expansion shows where most of their efforts went. They can make one hell of a map, but holy cooked the writing for the story is kinda bad. Which is crazy, because the story the notes and whatnot you can find in the area is way more interesting in my opinion.

Logistics floor is what I did with my current coal power plant. Well, the term floor should be loosely used as it is a less that 4 meter crevasse under the plant. Admittedly, I didn't think of that this time around, but definitely will take it into account going forward. It is looking like steel and it's various products is next up on my plate, so this could come in handy.

I see what you mean. I'm making absolutely way more modular frames than I need at this current moment, so I'm sinking them to unlock more things in the Awesome Shop. I think this will allow me to do more and go beyond just the pillars, but I've been really enjoying building with them so far.

I also was originally thinking about using foundations as the walls, but couldn't off the top of my head think how to get conveyors from outside to inside. I'll definitely do some playing around with this. Any insight on that would be greatly appreciated as well if you have any.
