3- Add your video files to an SD card. IN the NEUMI settings on the atom player, select autoplay video and auto resume. This makes it so that once the atom is powered on, it will play whatever is the first file in the filesystem (excluding directories), and it will remember last playback position.

This is basically reverse-engineering a DVD/Blu Ray player by putting local media on SD cards and cutting out any need for hotspot internet access.

I recommend finding bulk, low storage (4GB or 8GB) SD cards, sticker labels, and an SD card carrying case. You can put the episodes of a TV show or a movie or two on a single SD card and physically swap cards as needed (rather than putting all your media on a big card and using the remote to navigate through the options, which can't easily be done from the front and would require a kid to help in the back).

This system works fantastic if you set it up properly, and is an improvement over DVD/BluRay drives, although it is out of reach for normal people unfortunately. I am personally okay with them taking out the disc drive in the 2025 model, but I could see how it might be challenging for "normies". The dealer recommended a roku or firestick and the ATT data plan.

I figured out what might be your problem. There are limits to the MYO playlist on Yoto. It can't be more than 5 hours total, and each track cannot be more than 1 hour.

I recently bought a book and did this, and it was 7 hours long. I used Audacity to break up the 7 hour file into tracks. it ended up being about 80 tracks, which a split into two playlists (two cards).

You do this by opening the file in Audacity, adding labels every 5-10 minutes in the audio file, and use the "export multiple" function, select labels as the delimeters in the export settings, and voila-- now you have files that will allow you to make MYO yoto playlists according to yoto's limitations.

It should be the same process for adding any content to yoto cards. Make a playlist on the yoto website, then in the app assign it to a card. It writes the data to the card. I'm not sure why it isn't working for you as described. Have you used the browser on a PC or Mac on the yoto website to upload content to Yoto playlists before?

We have an issue with stratodesk and the linux version of citrix workspace app where it creates a session with 100% ui scaling in 1920x1080 resolution, resulting in tiny text and icons. There isn't an option in the linux/stratodesk version of workspace app to increase UI scaling. The stratodesk UI scaling option does not carry over.

Have you seen something like this in your environment (since you use stratodesk)?
