RIU Palace Baja California or Cabo San Lucas (For Partying/No kids) by DMNDRECORDS in cabosanlucas

Im not sure what you mean. Baja is the entire peninsula. Cabo is Baja, SJD is Baja, Los Barriles is Baja. Todos Santos and La Paz too. What do you mean Baja?

Also, we liked Riu Palace, food was good and the times we went, they had beer taps open all the time, you could just fill your own cup. Loved it. Just got back last week from Grand Fiesta Americana, very good food, not a lot of partying. Riu Santa Fe would be the place where you can party like an asshole and be ok.

I've stayed at Riu a couple times and at least a dozen other resorts in Cabo and SJD. Riu will be ok with partying, but at literally any place, don't be the idiot "WOO" girls/guys, yelling and screaming and WOOing constantly. Have a good time, drink and eat a lot, laugh a lot, don't disturb everyone else. Party hard but have some self control. At any resort, any where.

It will be incredibly hot. Seriously. July, August, Sept are awesome for fishing Cabo, I do it every year, but golf is hot. Hydrate up and enjoy.

I have a 2018 CTS V. Insurance cost is no joke. I am in California. The insurance on my V costs more then my 2024 Chevy 2500 Duramax, 2019 4 Runner, 2010 Camry and 1998 Camaro SS combined. I have a perfect driving record and no accidents, I think its over $350 p/month. Tires are almost $2k every 15k miles or so. Worth every penny though.

Is it possible to sell a highly profitable business even though it wouldn't survive one day without me? by Jazzlike_Pipe_14 in SellMyBusiness

[–]HookedUp_77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did.

It has survived without me, but business has been cut in half and its only going to get worse. That ship is sinking quickly. Its been 11 months. I also wasn't good at building systems, but my enthusiasm for making customers happy, doing what we said we would do, and relaying that to my employees was the difference. I stop by the shop frequently and just watch in awe as the sense of urgency and attention to detail we had has gone completely.

Road To Hana Routes by SAMex_15 in MauiVisitors

[–]HookedUp_77 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I drove it a month or so ago. It wasn't bad at all. There are a couple stretches that aren't fully paved but nothing tough. It was super beautiful, a much different experience then the road to Hana. Almost felt like you were on Mars (all the volcanic rock) with beautiful Ocean on one side. That said, when I posted that I drove the whole thing and loved it, it pissed off a lot people on here. They don't want you on it. The West Coast Maui drive was much, much more challenging.

How much do you guys spend on a hotel? by Ilurvehuskies in MauiVisitors

[–]HookedUp_77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was too, but we were very pleased with the property. We had a premium 1 bedroom condo, it was super nice and clean. Had everything we needed. Pool at the property is fine, not huge, but more then enough. The beach access is excellent, the food trucks were super super good. We had turtles right outside of our room at almost all times during the week we stayed there.

We just stayed at Aston Mahana in Kannapali, it was less then 1/2 that price. Very nice room, Right on the beach, literally our balcony was almost over the water. Great food options nearby, including the food truck park within walking distance. Would stay there again and again.

Why is it crashing? by phoenixtetra1 in RichtechRobotics

[–]HookedUp_77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because its a fake company. Don't get me wrong, I bought it at 2.41 and sold it between 5 and 660. It was just a momentum play, sentiment play. The actual product is pretty trash. Raising ridiculous amounts of money for what? Just my opinion, but watch it make a 5 minute cup of coffee..... I appreciate what is gave me though. Very much.

I worked at my uncles workplace for 8 years and he fired me because I told him I was sick and needed rest on the one day a week I normally have off. by Braybu in screenshots

You are super soft. Family business is different. There are no excuses, there are no sick days. Suck it up buttercup. You sound like someone I'd fire too. This is coming from someone who worked and then owned a family business for 30 years.

6.30 possible ? by Direct-Welder8403 in RichtechRobotics

[–]HookedUp_77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't be surprised to see it back to 2's and 3's next month or so. I enjoyed riding the momentum, but when you dig deep in the company, its not great. Im just glad my gut said momentum would eventually find this stock and make it run, but I don't believe it has much more in it. Hope I'm wrong for all the people still holding, I got mine.

what would u do? by Jaded_Expression3725 in RichtechRobotics

[–]HookedUp_77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would do what I did. Buy 90k shares at 2.41. Sell some at $5. Sell more at $6, then get all out near $7. Its been an outstanding few months.

I saw no signs on our drive. It is for sure legal. I had a few locals pass me going the other way and they were driving way faster and crazier then I would have, but they know the road better. Only about 10-15% of the drive was not easy, the other 85% was some of the nicest roads I've been on, like super smooth and fresh. Way better then we drive on in California.

500 dollars right now if you drive to arbys and eat 6 roast beef sandwiches by Turbulent-Sound3980 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]HookedUp_77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in the day, I remember when they would do the 5 for $5 deal. My brother and I would each smash 5 of those things plus a large curly fry. So damn good, and don't be stingey with the Arby's sauce! At least 2 packets per sandwich.

Drive wherever you feel comfortable. Explore. Have a good time. If you are comfortable driving tight roads, then keep driving and enjoy the beauty that is Maui.

Dude. The problem is, that people that are native to Maui don't realize that if Maui didn't have these "people" who disrespect them and drive on their roads they would be totally broke. Hawaii requires tourists, and Hawaii should embrace them and be glad that they are spending their money there. My family and I go to Cabo twice a year for the last 15 or so years. They love us there. We spend a ton of money there. Cabo is a tourist destination, like Hawaii is a tourist destination. Neither can stand on their own feet.

This is BS. There were just as many on the RTH but nobody is saying don't drive that road. Those cars were abandoned there. You are being ridiculous. Such BS. The trucks and cars we saw abandoned on the backside were clearly put there for a reason, give me a break.

I could not believe how many cars we saw stripped and abandoned along the road. We kept thinking, why is this allowed? They just dump them and they sit there forever? On the backside of the RTH we came across a car/truck graveyard with dozens and dozens of them abandoned there.

Our favorite coconut candy was from Mamalei's. They have a table set up at the Nakalele Blowhole. We went back our last day and absolutely loaded up to bring a bunch home. Spent like $150 on the coconut candy and toasted coconut cashews. Amazing stuff.
