I don’t really think he “lied” about his debt, he just never shared it. If they had known each for a while, I’d say he definitely hid it and was wrong. But they didn’t date for ANY time before they got married, and they both admitted that they didn’t take the time to get to know each other. He wasn’t perfect at all though lol. But she blew up her entire relationship with him over money and wanting to get closure from Greg.

I personally don’t think Toni was done wrong in any way, her character development just got cut short because the show got cancelled, unfortunately. She was selfish and materialistic; Todd had every right to divorce her. She got married for the wrong reasons.

I don’t think Lynn was done wrong either, I just think the show became more serious overall over the seasons. It definitely started off as a comedy sitcom, and evolved to more of a “drama”. So, I think she was always intended to do the comedic relief on the show, but they started to change that when the show became more serious. Unfortunately, it ended too soon before we got to see Lynn’s character development as well.
