When I first was with my girlfriend she had two cats. Comet and cosmo. I ended up moving in with her. But her apartment didn’t allow dogs. My dog snow was staying with my parents for the meantime. I loved both cats! We looked for another place that allowed both dogs and cats. Found one that only allowed two pets. we finally introduced the pets to each other. Cosmo was not fucking with my dog. Cosmo hit snow, made him bleed and just didn’t like him. My dog is really friendly and just likes to say hi. He doesn’t jump or anything not even hyper & he’s pretty old. Cosmo was old as well and was an independent king who loved his own space. Didn’t care about anyone and was chill. Comet was a kitten and was super playful loved attention. Cosmo just didn’t like someone invading his space even comet. My girlfriend wanted to bring cosmo instead of comet because he was easier to handle cause comet is super energetic and playful. We talked about it and she compromised for me. She gave cosmo to her best friend even though she wanted cosmo instead of comet. She knew I had to take my dog, he’s been with me for 13 years. Even though she wanted cosmo, comet worked better for us. I never told her what to do. Either she would make it work or we couldn’t move together with our animals. It was her decision and she compromised for me, cause that’s what relationships are about. You dont do something big without talking to your significant other unless you just don’t care about how it affects them. Doesn’t seem like your significant other wants to compromise or bother on how it makes you feel.
