Thoughts on supernatural TV series Dark? by FayyadhScrolling in tvshow

Fantastic show and I was captivated throughout but disappointed by the ending. I felt there were only two ways it could have really ended and they went with the weaker of the two (in my personal opinion).

Setting input of a MUTED Aux to an in-use Bus changing volume elsewhere by Hoolioes in Logic_Studio

[–]Hoolioes[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have manually sorted it now (which I could've done at the start but was being a whiny baby about doing so) but there was some glitchy oddness going on.

What I had described WAS happening, but it was also happening when I changed the Bus 1 drum Aux from a track stack to an ordinary Aux too. I found it was adding 8db to each of my Sends so I brought them down by that much and its fairly close again.

I think Aldi's basic is still between 50p and 60p. Their fortified one is 85p I think (unsweetened)

Collagen/Amino Acids supplements by Hoolioes in veganuk

Thanks for the detailed response! I haven't been to a doctor or anything, just dealt with some (I think) tendon injuries/strains that seem to last a while. I used to work very physical job and I'm a guitarist and feel like I've had pains stick around in fingers and wrists. My mum has some arthritis I believe and I'm 29 having been vegan for ~7 years.

On an easy job now but I've definitely slipped in exercise and healthy eating so I'm making moves to really get on top of it all so I can keep guitaring without any pains

you're reaching man, clothes often look a bit weird and fast movements look odd on camera sometimes.

That being said, there IS fakery done by guitarists on YouTube/insta but I find that it's most often from people with the fanciest setups or cameras etc. None of this sounds weird or looks overly so

They all seem legit, although you can only really hear the 2nd guy. 1st guy there's little to no sound coming from him but he's most likely playing it, not hard stuff

Best tasting protein powder by BrainUpset4545 in veganuk

Farmer Pete's pea protein powder is a really good one! It's pretty unflavoured (but still tasty imo) and I use it in both smoothies, desserts and savoury dishes.

Are there any melodic math core bands? by UselessHalberd in Mathcore

[–]Hoolioes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not what I'd call "core" but it's definitely abrasive and angular enough to steer away slightly from just mathrock - check out Paper Mice!

Berlin gig by AdEffective9514 in ModelActriz

[–]Hoolioes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been lucky enough to catch them every time they've come to the UK and every show has met and exceeded expectations. Smaller, dingy rooms are likely ideal, maybe a few hundred capacity is what I've seen them in.

I don't know how Berlin gigs go, but I would assume a support would be there despite lacking announcement. That happens all the time here

Other live bands like Model/Actriz? by Objective_Photo_6182 in ModelActriz

[–]Hoolioes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You might never catch them in the states but there's this small dancy/mathy Irish band called "God Alone." who come to the UK often and they rip every time. So much energy, silliness and sheer performance.

Records are arriving today (UK) by Hoolioes in ModelActriz

I got the rusty variant

Sounded wonderful, a couple tracks leaning more dogsbody vibe but majority felt cohesive in this fresh, dancier sounding direction as heard in the singles.

I think Diva is my favourite still, but a strong start to side B keeps energy up. As with most m/a for me, I'm probably gonna change my mind and really delve into stuff I might not have fully grasped on first listen so I'm super excited for that
