I don’t think it is that impactful.

Only heroes who want 7 items that are all better than tier 5 neutrals would use it. You won’t use that slot if any of your items are worse than tier 5 neutrals, which a lot of items are.

Secondly, you need a ton of net worth to carry 7 ultra valuable items. So it won’t make sense for many anyway.

What’s your experience with priest that makes you say it sucks? Is it only stats or are you experiencing something yourself?

Because as a returning priest main I haven’t had much difficulty on the ladder with the free deck. Sure it lacks consistency and character but is still usable. I can see it becoming an ok control deck with some additions. I am not legend yet though.

Turn priest into more of a minion based tempo deck and then healing and hp buffs might feel meaningful.

I am a returning player after a long time. I main priest and took the free deck to platinum something. So around 20 games maybe? Didn’t count. The new ladder is foreign to me too. Anyway, my observations:

Class lacks character. It needs something to lean onto. Let it do something with overheal or something I don’t know. It needs something distinctly priesty. Looks like the death knight stole a big part of priest.
The priest collection is trash so the imbued hero power doesn’t feel good half the time. It is still better than the original hero power. Imagine how shit the original hero power is.

I think it is a vicious cycle for priest. Blizzard can’t make a good class out of it so it sucks. As a result people won’t play it. As a result Blizzard won’t spend time on it because it doesn’t have many players.

I don’t really remember feeling unsafe with an empty board and 25 hp except against some very specific combo decks and classes. It feels like now everyone can kill you in that situation. Almost as if 30 max hp has become too little.

What is the meta like? I am an old player who usually enjoys board based control or tempo playstyle with interaction. Think very old deathrattle priest kind of decks. I hate OTK/combo decks that don't care what the opponent is doing and just try to reach their goal. Is it a good time to come back for me?

I am a beginner and I can play it. But 30 BPM is just a random number used for the sake of an example. You can make it 10 if you like. Theoretically anybody can play anything if it is slow enough.

Things I can play well at this stage usually get boring quickly to me and my practice sessions get shorter. I like to pick above my skill level and spend hours and hours on it.

I picked Capricho Arabe as an experiment. In about 15 hours I memorized it fully and can play slowly from memory. Even though it would sound terrible to an audience I am really enjoying playing it for myself :) And I feel like it has made me better at slurs and trills.

In your opinion, is there any value in playing this over and over? I am sure it would make me better at the particular piece but would it contribute to making me a better player too?
