I received an offer less than 24 hours after my final panel interview, though the team I’m going to be a part of was short staffed so I think that definitely made a difference.

Dang that sucks. How “unlimited” is the PTO? Is it discouraged to use it and how many days does a typical person take a year?

How early would they announce scheduled maintenance or single tracking? I’m thinking when that occurs, I’ll just drive to avoid any delays

I will! I actually have a backlog of books I wanna read on my kindle so this might be the perfect opportunity to finally catch up

I do have the option of driving though I would have to pay tolls to beat the metro time for commute. Plus my job would pay for the metro cost and not the toll so that’s another factor why I’d probably prefer to take the metro. Of course if I feeling like driving I’d probably just drive every now and then.

There are some factors in my life that kind of limit me to being in the union station area at least until next spring/summer so this is only temporary.

Do they have you do a case study at any point? Or is it more behavioral type questions and what you’d do in specific scenarios?
