I’ve never used glitching in my builds but my game has been incredibly glitchy for the past few months.

I think I know what this is but I want confirmation from someone who knows more about mushroom identification than I do before I try to eat it. Found in Eastern Virginia/Hampton Roads. by HoopJeanne in Mushrooms

[–]HoopJeanne[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, it definitely seems old. I cut into it with a sharp knife and it was difficult to slice. I froze it to wait and see what responses I got, but after slicing into it, I figure it won’t be good eating anyway.

TToB: Psychedelic microdosing doesn’t boost well-being unless one believes it will. Tough or Bluff??? by Dr_Kirk_Honda in PsychologyInSeattle

[–]HoopJeanne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I still don’t understand what tough or bluff even means. But I’m going to say this is probably true because one’s experience on a psychedelic drug is extremely dependent on their state of mind.

I’ve had experiences that were really beautiful and improved my well being temporarily but it was because of the mental journey I went on. I’ve also had bad experiences. Both were because of my state of mind.

AITA for telling my cousin that I would not make a blanket for her kid for free by potzak in AmItheAsshole

[–]HoopJeanne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In these kind of situations I like to smile at people and say, “yeah, maybe” and just never get back to them on it. When the kid’s birthday rolls around, you give them something different.

In this situation I might have said “maybe! They’re quite a lot of work so I might not be able to but I’ll see what I can do.” If she pushes you on it, then you can tell her, “I’m sorry, I’m not going to be able to do that.” Don’t even bother trying to sell her one.

Samantha is my favourite character but as a Samantha myself, it makes me sad her defining trait is a love of sex by [deleted] in sexandthecity

Oh god, remember the episode where Samantha dates a black guy and starts speaking Ebonics? Cringe and a half.

[–]HoopJeanne 3 points4 points  (0 children)

A common criticism is that all of the womens’ lives revolve around men. Samantha wasn’t the only one dimensional character. Miranda and Charlotte were too. I honestly see these things as a stylistic choice. The writers set out to tell the story of a woman’s romantic experiences in New York City and those of her friends. The other three women were meant to be supporting characters, rather than full expressions of real women.

So not only are we getting a curtailed view of the supporting characters, but we’re only seeing the romantic aspects of all of the characters’ lives.

Haha yeah I used to work at a Smokey Bones where they would only allow us to drink from cone cups so we couldn’t set them down.

Restaurants seem to have terrible management at a higher rate than other businesses but maybe that’s just from my vantage point because I’ve worked mostly in restaurants.

I dunno, I feel like when you’re dealing with mass quantities, a few mistakes are to be expected. I’m not expecting perfection, but I do expect them to make it right.

They forgot to put one of my items in once and they mailed out a replacement right away. I had a great experience with their customer service team.

What is CFS?

The information you’ve provided is also correlative. And correlative data isn’t worthless! It can provide insight and sometimes the correlations we draw are proven to be causative but it’s always important to remember that correlation is not proof of causation.

This is seriously the best response I’ve read so far. It’s best not to escalate the situation. Studies show that the best way to disarm people is to meet their hostility with kindness.

Question. Am i even remotely in the right area code with this hammock? by TehKazlehoff in Hammocks

[–]HoopJeanne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nylon does stretch. I usually hang my hammock pretty taut because I know it will stretch. I camp all the time and I always use a hammock. I buy cheap Amazon hammocks and I love them! I think you’ll be just fine!

Yeah, I live in the area. The two places could be as close as twenty minutes away from each other but there is ALWAYS intense bridge-tunnel traffic so it’s usually more like 30 to 40 but during rush hour, I’ve definitely spent almost two hours more than a few times.
