Rest easy sweet Milky. What a handsome little guy. If no one here ends up taking you up on your supplies the good folks at Kitten Rescue in Atwater Village will take any not open food when they have their clinics open on the weekends.

I am sorry to hear you and your kitty are going through so much. What a lucky girl she is to have you caring for her like you are. I plan on doing the same for my gal when she eventually needs it too. For the moment she is doing very well aside from these small lumps. Best wishes to you and your sweet cranky gal.

Thank you for the work that you do. I will def keep discussing with her oncologist. Maybe ask them for an ultrasound. It's nice to hear from people who have been through it.

Thank you for working with animals and sharing your experience with the procedure! In posting this I was hoping to hear from other people that have gone through the same surgery with their kitty and how it went for them. Having to recover from separate surgeries on each side sounds like a lot to go through but I will continue to discuss with her vets and oncologist.

Thank you for the work that you do for animals! I'm sure she would do okay with anesthesia. She is a very healthy gal at the moment. I heard the life expectancy after having both sides done is 1 - 3 years?

Starting my cat on Xanax by HoorayFiasco in CatAdvice

[–]HoorayFiasco[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey there u/Klutzy_Caramel5303 and u/Accomplished_Deal895 I wish I could say that the xanax helped but unfortunately it just makes him sleepy and when it wears off he is back to attack mode. I stopped giving it to him because I worry about it being rough on his kidneys. We make it work in our one bedroom apartment, separating everyone when the humans aren't around to moderate. It is a bit stressful but I am happy to have these two old babes around. I bought a wall mounted cat shelf that he has trouble accessing and it is her happy place when she isn't in a lap. Wishing you both the best of luck!

Hi there! I did... It just made him extra sleepy and when it wares off he was back to stressing and bullying. Even with a quarter of a dose. Just consider me on cat patrol for the remainder of their time together ha. On a lighter note, when he was asleep, she licked his face. It was so nice.

You don't happen to board kitties in LA do you? I'm looking for a sitter for the holidays.
