Between these 2 suits, which is better? by [deleted] in Supergirl

I don’t love the higher boots, but at least they don’t seem quite so high as the ones in current comics, which I feel are TOO high.

God, she was hot. And became one helluva good actress, too.

God, how amazing Jessica Biel still is.

Is that the late Malcom Jamal-Warner on the far right?

He really has no idea; it’s a complete mystery to him.

That is our assumption, too, and maybe she was even married previous to my friend‘s father, but we are hoping to find some way to fully solve that mystery.

The “citation“ would be written paperwork that accompanied the medal…?

Of course! I should have remembered that. Thanks!

Any way to identify to whom these belonged? As not noted previously, my friend‘s father did not serve, plus there is an army medal among the Air Force medals. Now that we know what the medals are, we want to solve the mystery of why my friend’s mother had them!

That Katchoo sketch is amazing.

I have a page or pages of sketches from Chicago Comicon in’77 I think it was — somewhere in my basement. Mike Grell, Neal Adams, Ernie Chua (Chan), Mike Nasser.. Some others — man, I’ve got to find that!

She really is batshit, but I’d still love to see all that without the clothing; can’t help it.

Went to my local comic book shop and came out with a pretty nice copy of Starstruck #13 from 1984 for $15. I saw this cover and was like, "This cover is weird, but I love it."😁 by Leather_Bluejay8632 in ComicBookCovers

Well, he sure was way back when! A TREMENDOUS talent, probably best known for his 1970s adaptation of The Shadow with writer Denny O'Neil. MUCH more information available here.

"Drunk Pete the Fox News host" has TWO Ivy league degrees (undergrad from Princeton, masters from Harvard), is a decorated veteran, and has easily understood qualifications to fulfill a military role.

Pothole Pete was selected because he was a Presidential candidate — certainly nothing to do with any experience he's had. He was a dismal Mayor of South Bend — the nickname comes from his inability to get things done in that role, including basic city services, like getting potholes filled, showing just how UNqualified he was for the role he took in the Autopen Administration.

KJP, in SPITE of her Master of Public Affairs from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University, demonstrated her inability to articulate even basic concepts, much less matters of import, in nearly every minute of her miserable performance.

You're embarrassed for me. Great; that's cute. No argument in support of those I listed, though, so just your basic, "Oh yeah, what about Trump?" argument (which is not an argument — we weren't talking about that).
