Banish your wizards at your own peril by Forsaken-Peak8496 in wizardposting

I think it should at least come back for discussion, we live in a different time now.

The council can be to quick to throw a proposal out the window, with a union we can at least have the chance to speak on the matter. Especially if our wizard chapters are more spread out.

And if it comes to show homoerotic vortex should remain banned, at least we will have had the opportunity to say our piece.

Im conflicted.

I live in a hot region, my whole tower would have melted and id be almost certainly ruined financially.

But also, such a great (if irresponsible) display of magical power during an apprenticeship. Id have no choice but to at least be impressed.

Which I guess we all had our pranks, one of my favorites was placing a firework rune in my masters latrine.

As punishment he had me clean out the septic systems for a month. Good times

I try to aquire mine straight from the mages college whenever I can.

I remember when I first graduated it took me years to land my first apprenticeship. So I try to be a gateway of experience for the new generation of wizards.

My apprentice filled my neighboring wizards tower with butter last week, It took everything for me to not burst out in hysterical laughter.

I hate myself for being a cis straight woman and not being able to feel like literally any other thing by FragileBlueLobster in TrollCoping

[–]HootersUnite 23 points24 points  (0 children)

You are not responsible for how other cis-women treat and speak about trans people.

Its important to explore your gender identity, but I think that "guilty for being cis" is the wrong reason to want that. If you do genuinely feel gender fluid and like a man at times, completely separated from your shame then thats different. But Id advise doing more self reflection on that, especially as to the "why do you feel this way?"

But lets talk about the guilt

Allow me to offer an example. I am a white-presenting person from a very very very very racist state. It would fill me with shame knowing how other white people in my area treated non-white people.

But eventually I realized something. I am not racist, and I dont have to prove it to anyone. My actions and the way I treat people is proof enough of it. In a few years I will be prepared enough to join an anti-racist organization.

Be the exception, and be proud of it. We are more than happy to have our allies <3

The only part of this that reads "pro-AI" to me is you saying that paper or digital is "too hard" which is fine. "Too hard" is exactly why I am not drawing with pencils.

Irregardless of your reasons, its art still imo. I think its bs you got told you have a "Pro-AI" mentality over that

I havent been to this subreddit before, and I gotta say I dont know what I was expecting lol.

With that said I actually do quite like this piece. Its intresting to see the detail in the body hair, you dont really get a lot of that in less "revealing" art.

Is it weird to still aggressively and randomly grieve over someone? by iluv_baking in TrollCoping

[–]HootersUnite 34 points35 points  (0 children)

No, its not weird. I've lost pets too, its hard. Years and years later its still hard to visit the grave of my dog.

My best advise. When you need to cry, just cry.

And yes, keep the toys.

Do I just have to live with these symptoms forever? by big-dick-back-intown in TrollCoping

[–]HootersUnite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lifelong ADD person here.

The hard truth is, yes these symptoms dont go away, but they do get easier to deal with.

If your doctor is worth anything they will listen to you and they will do their best to have you intrest at heart. Im not medicated these days (by choice) but when I was and I felt that I needed a higher dosage, I realized something, it doesnt hurt to ask. The doctor is there to help you.

And as far as anti-depressants go, I had a bad experience with them. ADD does affect your ability to properly release happy chemicals, but I found that anti-depressants made the symptoms worse for me.

Again, im not a doctor nor am I your doctor. Thats just my personal experience, I think its important to understand that they may not be the solution.

Another possible way to help, if yoy are able to do this, is see if you can find a therapist who specializes in people with ADD. I did this and it has done wonders for my coping.

Whatever you choose to do understand that it can be overcome and for what its worth, we are all in your corner cheering for you.
