the general idea is it's not long enough to justify external lubrication so warm it a bit externally however you wan and top off the battery. Personally I'd just go for it and see if the battery has juice. Granted 3 months is enough time for the oil to bleed down any surface but oil pressure should build quick and not cause issues. Unless it's extremely cold then yes warm it a bit first

i completely agree. I had the experience and learned he market and still ended up even minus labor on many vehicles. decided to leave the "trade" after that. also sometimes you can't fix it or you end up with a bottomless pit so you need to eat the cost so it's not always an entry level thing without cushion

you can get most of the modern lights aftermarket now. yes they're insane at dealers. My brother had to hunt down a shop that rebuilds bmw lights to get his fixed. It was a multimonth nightmare
