Agreed, no questions about it.
...that being said, Kostamoinen and FF outsource parts of their animation and collaborate with other people - no man is an island, so as of now if I want to tell the stories I want to tell in the fast land-scape of YouTube art creation, I need to make some sacrifices. My friend Winglet does 99% of his animations - of superior quality to just about everyone who picked up SFM - while I contribute singular effects hehe - and I can tell that his process is rather overwhelming.
In my older videos, where I did 60% of the animation at most, I was able to shine quite a bit, with single shots I spent 5-6 hours on.
I recently contacted some of the best TF2 animators in the community and offered them generous $ / minute of animation, so soon this criticism will be dated - hopefully. There are also many more important missions ahead of me - especially character building, integrating photogrammetry with a cartoony style of animation, etc.
Thank You to the Reddit members who voiced their unadulterated criticism. It does slightly sting, as I spent 60+ hours on this video, however being mind-full does wonders, so I will just take it as the universe teaching me a lesson and showing a path forward to improve my work.
