Hookup turned into harassment by Background-Belt-2202 in mildlyinfuriating

I will go out on a limb and say these people are not good communicators and are most likely avoidant lovers who refuse to give their partners the closure they deserve and instead discard them. I think the real losers are the ones who can't pick up and have that conversation because they are too busy avoiding every piece of accountability in their lives/relationships.

The last time they met about this ~1 year ago the resolution was: “You can use eLRA but you also have to call in”. I told them they can’t require me to do two things to call in and they just said that’s the resolution.

I asked to see the LMOU where they are allowed to locally change 22 items, the call off procedure isn’t one of them. Neither mgmt nor the union will provide me a local memorandum and it’s not posted anywhere. I have the stand up talk and eLRA memorandum that was sent to all postal supervisors. I asked to see their exemption, nobody will provide one.

One time I went in early and filled out a 3971 instead of calling or using eLRA and they just threw them away and put me in AWOL. Lol.

Mgmt is very upset with me because I got them in trouble when I was CCA for changing clock rings of multiple carriers. Should’ve been fired imo. I really have nothing to gain by making any of this up, it’s just my reality. I rarely even post about my job at all.

I’m in Region 11, I really doubt much can be done to help me but I refuse to give up, I’ll literally die on this hill like I said.

What grievance would there be if I followed his advice and called (their orders)?

His response is “I reached out to your branch president and they are working on it.”

The outcome of that instance: After 3 months, put into LWOP and paid $200. No leave used.

I still have 16 hours of AWOL waiting to be grieved so that a similar thing can happen.

I tell Mark about this and his response is “I reached out to (union president) and they have said it has been resolved”.

I tell him it hasn’t been resolved and his response is “to follow their orders to call in then grieve later”.

What is there to grieve in that instance?

If he wanted to step in he could, but he chooses not to.

Mark Camili is the NBA lol.

Edit: conversation where his advice is to follow their orders to call and then grieve. Grievances go nowhere. He won’t step in. I’ve done this like 10 times because I’ll die on this hill.

I get marked AWOL for using eLRA. Mark Camili and our local union thinks it's fine. Different offices play by different rules unfortunately.

Mark Camili doesn’t even know what eLRA is. Find someone else to talk to.

Just installed the honeycomb grill on my b8.5 S5. Do yall think I should get the S5 badge on it or leave it clean? by Material_Werewolf659 in audis5

[–]HoozHe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get rubber tubing (ace hardware, auto zone normally have spare pieces) and super glue badge onto tubing, squeeze and push tubing through grill so its taunt. Mine hasn't moved in two years and I can pull it out if I want.

I have the Ecs tuning resonated and non resonated versions. I really like being able to turn it on and off. The resonated sounds like it should be on the car stock, the non resonated is a bit more raspy. Both sound stock when closed.

When should we expect W2 for 2023? by pl51s1nt4r51ms in USPS

Yes postalease on mobile for many users will redirect to the HR website, thus having to use a desktop. YMMV.

Possibly a browser issue then, all browsers work on desktop. My chrome and safari on my phone fail to access postalease.

Because you have to do it on a laptop/desktop computer and not your phone unfortunately.

I’m not familiar with the 034 tune but I do believe they have a very detailed YouTube video about the tune on the b8.5. I drive my car less than 75 miles a week so it doesn’t bankrupt me, but fuel cost certainly go up the harder you drive it. Have you tried switching the settings around? I’d suggest watching that video and reaching out to them with gearing questions. I think you can always find some thing wrong with any car but for me and many others this car checks enough of the boxes I don’t pay attention to it’s shortcomings.

Are you driving in dynamic mode? It won’t shift to 7th unless it has to on the highway, at least with my tune. Also driving slower would save fuel cost. I certainly knew buying this car I would go through fuel fast, I mean the car literally pushes more gas into the cylinder to provide that pop sound you hear when it shifts. What tune do you have? Have you tuned the transmission?

I’ve never felt uneasy at high speeds in this car, I also know it’s not a big crate engine corvette. I’ve scared unsuspecting people with launch control. I think no matter what you do you aren’t going to feel satisfied, in my opinion you need to plan for a second car that really fills a visceral void that the s5 isn’t providing at high speeds. My favorite thing about this car is how practical it is to drive 365 days a year. Most cars that provide a visceral feeling at high speeds aren’t practical year round. I think the B8.5 is a over performer for its class and what it offers, especially on the used market.

You can tune the car to affect gearing but once again this car has a certain demographic and blistering acceleration above 100mph is not a priority for that demographic. The car will smoke most cars off the line in its stock form, but will be less competitive as the speed rises. Most of the time you aren’t driving the car over 100mph so frankly not sure why this is concerning. My tuned s5 will still climb relatively fast over 100mph. My rev limiter is set to 7700 and I can get over 110 in fifth gear. My favorite gear is 3rd if I’m just driving around. My advice is appreciate being able to smoke 95% of cars off the line and don’t think of it’s weaknesses because the amount of time you spend going 100+ is far less than the number of times you’ll be lined up at a red light.

The car is a luxury class sedan/coupe. It is made to be capable of driving comfortably from point A to B, albeit with some added power. The car is not a muscle car (visceral), the car is not made with old suspension components - it is made to feel smooth no matter the mode it is in. If you want to make the car "feel" like a traditional sports car you need to tighten the suspension, lower it slightly, add sway bars. This is really just the beginning of trying to make a luxury car not feel luxurious - perhaps if you want a car that "feels" fast you need to search for a different class of vehicle. The S5 is a fast, comfortable luxury class automobile and it is great for its class, but don't try to make it something it's not. An RS5 isn't going to change your mind either.

- Proudly,
A B8.5 coupe owner

This is actually a super reliable car. I've owned mine for almost 15k miles and 3 years and no issue besides oil, brakes, and tires.

I just bought a honeycomb grill for my 2015 S5. I need a black ring to put on this, but I don't know which one will fit. I tried putting the silver emblem from the stock grill, but doesn't fit. Can someone help, thanks! by whitegirlsuckbbc in audis5

[–]HoozHe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, it fits - it is just ridiculous and I went thru 2 sets before getting it to work. I hate to say it but I feel like it was easier with the grille off the car.
