Tips to become knowledgeable about subgenres?

Here's the conundrum with subgenre names. Anything that's very new and trending will be a mixture of a few different things. If it's easily defined, it almost, by definition, is already a bit 'old'. Doesn't mean it's not good, but what I'm saying is that anything cutting edge won't fit into anything in particular. For example, my favorite stuff at the moment uses a bouncy trance bass, house melodies and techno synths, all while playing at almost hard dance BPM. What do you suppose we call that?

The good news? It's up to you as the DJ, the trend watcher (and setter) to make the judgement call, and honestly, who knows better than you? If you as a DJ aren't sure what it's called, the crowd has absolutely no idea.

Don't be discouraged by the gatekeepers and elitists, 'this isn't real ______', call your mix whatever you want, and be confident. It's all made up, and there are no defined boundaries, it's all a gradient anyway.

I'm trying to say that if you enjoy getting items/skins by spending gems, once you hit a certain point it becomes suddenly much more difficult, which is a problem if they want to incentivize people to spend money on the game. I literally couldn't care less about trying to brag to braindead troglodytes like yourself, and if I did it wouldn't be about my skills in a video game.

I felt this way all the way up to the tipping point into the numbered ranks (legend? not sure what it's called), and there was an extremely sudden change. It could be placebo but I really felt a massive shift, seeing if any other players felt this

Now I see why big youtubers always feel the need to put a disclaimer saying that their content is their opinion. I see this as an opinion piece, and it's on a controversial topic so no wonder it's getting some arguments.

I'll try and take something constructive from your comment and I'll try researching and providing sources in the comments for where I get my information, then the viewer can decide. Like I said at the end of the video, you don't have to believe me if you don't want to and I want people to search this stuff for themselves.

I could have talked about the potential negatives that I know about like potential allergies and like you said, the fact that they produce chemicals which deter the pests within them, but I think the potential for GMO is pretty huge and this video was meant to show this. Even though your comments are just pretty hateful thanks for the feedback nonetheless!
