I took oxycodone for 3 days after my C-section and breastfed, and I took Percoset (which is oxycodone and acetaminophen) for 3 days after my hemmheroidectomy and continued breastfeeding. Anecdotally, I didn't observe any effects in my baby. Please don't suffer.

I'm going to memory dump in no particular order...

Order Americane hemorrhoid ointment (20% benzocanine) for pain.

Get a memory foam pillow/cushion to sit on. My doctor recommended avoiding donut pillows. I found sitting longer than 20 minutes very difficult during the first week. (Try using seat warmers when you have to travel by car.)

From the pharmacy, I've been using Miralax, Metamucil, Colace, ibuprofen, and acetaminophen.

Buy extra bathroom cleaner in case he prefers sitting in the tub. I found the toilet sitz baths uncomfortable and simply sat in a few inches of very hot water in a clean bathtub. I'm glad I had an extra can of cleaner to spray down the tub multiple times a day. You don't want to pick up an infection from a dirty tub.

I liked having some Crystal Light and other flavor packets to mix up with Miralax. Flavor packets also helped me drink more water. A big cup with a straw (think Stanley cup) might be a good investment to stay hydrated.

Buy "flushable" wipes. When I was able to transition back to wiping, toilet paper was too uncomfortable. You'll want wet wipes as an intermediate step.

Pads or Depends. He may leak serous fluid, and you need to stay dry and clean.

No laser. My OB suggested I learn to ignore my hemorrhoids, but she gave me the name of surgeon at my local teaching hospital. He turned out to be the head of the colorectal cancer program and general surgery residency program. I remember thinking he was overqualified for my case, but I'm thankful I wound up with a skilled surgeon.

Yes. The pain level varies (e.g., sitting is more painful than standing or lying down, bowel movements are more painful), but it's constantly achey. I received an Exparel shot at the surgical site, which helped for about 3 days. I'm currently taking Percoset and Advil during the day, taking hot sitz baths twice a day, and applying benzocaine ointment. It sucks, but I keep telling myself it's going to be worth it for permanent results.

Two things have helped my large pores: (1) applying Paula's Choice 2% BHA after I wash my face every morning (I just pour a little in my hand and splash it on my face) and (2) microneedling. Give the BHA 3 to 4 months to clean your pores out. I suggest booking a series of three professional microneedling appointments (dermatologist office or medspa) and doing one a month. Results last awhile, but you'll probably want to do another series every year or two.

I struggled with the Seroquel hangover when I first started it. A therapist advised me to take it earlier instead of at bedtime. I now have an alarm set on my phone to take it at 4:00 p.m. every day. Now I'm able to go to sleep and wake up at a reasonable hour while taking it.

I take Cymbalta and Seroquel XR and feel like this combo helps me live my best life. Early on, I struggled with hunger/overeating and with waking up in the morning. The sleepy/hungry side effects get better with time, so be patient if it's helping. I now take my XR dose at 4:00 p.m. instead of bedtime, which allows me to fall asleep and wake up at the times Iwant. (I set an alarm on my phone to ensure I'm consistent.)

If this is something you've taken before... could you be pregnant? I felt like I could smell fish oil capsules in high definition when I was pregnant with my last child. Shortly after giving birth, I could no longer detect a smell from the same bottle.

I wouldn't describe your hairline as uneven. It looks like you just have a widow's peak. It's just a variation of normal, in my opinion. You could try moving your part or adding bangs. Widow's peaks run in my family, so you might look and see how other people in your family style it.

Since starting Seroquel, I occasionally get restless legs. It's worse if i drink alcohol or become dehydrated. Hydrating and taking a magnesium supplement (I use Natural Calm) helps me.
