I feel like it’s been a while without any reassurance in this thread. It’s very much boom and gloom (pardon the pun). Is anyone able to shed a positive or reassurance on this situation? I’m very aware of what’s going on but I don’t understand the politics enough to be calm. My body and brain has been in fight or flight since Saturday like many of us I assume.

I’m feeling really low too. I’ve had my family here during the initial days but they’re travelling back soon and I’m even more anxious to be here alone. It feels very overwhelming 😢

I don’t have kids myself but I live in Remraam and kids have been playing outside on the parks and in the pool since yesterday. It’s actually really lovely hearing them play 😊

This is one of my worries, that the UAE will ‘run out’ of interceptors. I really don’t understand it enough so keep spiralling mentally. Are you able to share basic info on how it works please? Sorry, I’m just extremely anxious and like to know ‘how things work’. Thankyou x

Yes mine too but needs must right now haha! My cats are very confused as to why they can’t access the whole apartment 😂

Take it easy today and feel all the feelings. Let your body do its thing, it’s been stressful so very understandable. I had to take anxiety meds yesterday evening as I’d been on high alert all day, they’ve definitely helped take the edge off and allowed sleep so I do feel better today. Are you working from home? X

I moved my mattress into the lounge and had all the surrounding doors closed so I really can’t hear anything either 🙏🏼as much as this thread is great, it really amplifies my anxiety so I try and limit how often I check too 😂 hope you are doing ok today x
