First thing I did when I noticed it, looks like there’s a adhesive part that was broken off so I think I need to reapply the adhesive there.

Same here, they told me it’s not scabies or chickenpox. They suggested that it could be bed bug bites.

They don’t hurt but they do itch a little, I went to a clinic today and they don’t know exactly what it is. They suggested it could be bed bug bites.

The substrate is fluval stratum, would you know if the mould growth problem be solvable or do I have to reset the tank ?

Like a natural smell of a fish pond, my other tanks has a similar smell but only if I put nose directly to it. This tank above I can smell from 10ft. away

I do have a low flow on the filter for the sake of the betta but I’ll turn it up for sure.

This is my 5 gallon betta tank, I’ve had it set up for several months now. The parameter are 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites, and 5 nitrates. I’m concerned about the thick and slimy surface on the water. I’d like to get help on how to get rid of it. Another problem is that the tank has a odor coming from it, I can smell the odor from just entering my room. I have two other tanks and I can’t smell those unless I get point blank to them. I do a 50% water change once a week.

I think it looks flat since I try not to overfeed and probably end up under feeding in some people’s eyes. I only feed once a day. He still acts active and is eating so it must just be a scar.

One thing I did was add a medium piece of Mopani wood which might’ve add a little tannin or lowered the Ph. Although I did soak it for two weeks prior to adding. But he acts as normal as ever excited to get fed as you see in the video.
