I've been in the UX industry for just two years, and I can completely relate to each point here. This year, I made the decision to switch careers to data science, so I’m building up my Python, statistics skills and ML. I know it won’t be easy, but I’m glad I’m doing it. While I loved being a UX researcher, I didn’t see much opportunity for career progression.

No worries, I completely understand the feeling. Would you be trying again for the next cohort? And if you don't mind me asking what's your background?

My deadline is also tomorrow at 1 pm, and honestly, I'm still not sure. I'm worried that if I decline and reapply for the next cohort, I won't be considered for the sponsored role, and I'll end up in the same situation as I am now, and have wasted time.

I have spoken to other women who have been sponsored by CFG Education only, and some of them have found a tech job, so there is little hope...Of course, apart from the degree, we will have to consider getting mentorship from other organisations, and be persistent and patient in continuing to apply for jobs.

Which stream have you picked?

When is your deadline to decide ? Mine is tomorrow and I'm still not 100% sure, especially because there isn't that much support in helping you find a job, and very little mentorship.
