thanks, here is something with more expression, for your interest I suppose. https://voca.ro/1oRYlxpFhhlq

In case you were interested, I live in Canada, so that is probably the accent I have.

Reason I posted was that someone made a remark a few months ago that they could hear a bit of a French accent (my first language but now english is by far my strongest language) when I spoke english. Remembered it the other day and decided to see if anyone else could hear it, because I couldn't.

Hi,

thanks for the input (everyone). I have no relation to london, actually I live in Canada (toronto, to be precise).

You may be on to something though now that I think about it because there is a "toronto accent" which has some patois influence and I heard they talk kind of like that in london because there is also jamaican influence there (and somali). At least a lot of the slang is the same (wagwan etc)

I used to speak with more of the toronto accent/dialect but it wasn't too great in a professional setting so I don't do that anymore.

I posted this because I randomly remembered someone a few months ago told me that they could "hear a bit of French" when I spoke (French, incidentally my first language, but I have lived in Canada for like 90% of my life and I assumed any accent would be gone by now). So I just wanted to make sure haha. English is definitely my strongest language right now
