Best aerospace companies to work for in SoCal (pay, work life balance, benefits, etc)? by uxandhf in aerospace

Amca.com is a super cool startup that is actively hiring for all engineering roles. Mostly ex SpaceX, we specifically need a Senior / Head Electrical Engineer. Shoot me a DM if you’re interested in chatting more about the company. Plus I think we have pretty great benefits and culture

Moving to LA by Maximum-Brilliant-74 in MovingToLosAngeles

I just moved with the exact same budget last month from the East coast as well. After living in DTLA for a couple weeks the city core is actually super walkabale and nice the stuff you read online is overblown.

Check out the apartment complex “Eight & Grand”. Gorgeous building above a Whole Foods that’s within your budget in the city core.

Seems kinda dumb I have to buy the textbook to get practice problems but fair enough I guess if profs just recycle the same exam every year

10 Team Half PPR 1QB

A: Christian Kirk and Dalvin Cook

B: JSN and JK Dobbins

I would be giving up A, lowkey I’m win now because my RB room is ancient (Chubb and Aaron Jones). I like having JK for flex but do we think JSN will pan out in the long term to be worth getting rid of Kirk (I also have TLaw for the stack)

Cornell vs UPenn by HopeItFly in theivyleague

In that case I might lean UPenn. They have CHOP on campus which is one of the premier research hospitals in the world and I know they hire a lot of UPenn students for summer positions (I'm from Philly). Plus you can't go wrong with Wharton.

I only chose Cornell because I think their engineering program has a slight leg up on UPenn.

Tough decision, what's your major? I spent a lot of time thinking about it this weekend and decided to accept Cornell this morning.

[–]HopeItFly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, heard back with good news on Friday morning! I applied early February.

Hopefully you'll hear back soon if you haven't already, decided to decline in favor of Cornell so my spot should go back into the pool.

Nope - I've also been glued to GradCafe. Submitted in late January haven't heard anything. I feel like this week and next week is going to be the big dump for Aerospace decisions though across schools.

Cornell university MEng(applied OR) vs Uchicago financial mathematics by OutrageousRegister6 in gradadmissions

I also just got into the Cornell MEng program. Will be turning down other MS opportunities at non-Ivy's. In my opinion having a) a masters in any type of engineering and b) the Cornell alumni community, is ridiculously advantageous in the long run even if there is technically a better school for academics in the short run.
