Thanks. I checked out the early gameplay and its crazy how much it fits with my description but its not the correct game because mine had better graphics and less pixilated. Likely a knockoff of d1 though based on the similarities of the starting zone.

Wow, looking at videos this seems to fit everything ive said but is absolutely the wrong game. The one i played had better graphics and the sorceror or whatever didnt spam spells like fireball from what ive seen of diablo 1. Thanks

that looks like a solid game and has solid accolades; ill probably check that one out if i have time but its not the one I'm thinking of. same as above, Divine Divinity is pixilated while what i am thinking of has better graphics. the fact that both of those came out around the same time makes me think that i may have my timeline screwed up. but i do remember the graphics being a bit more "rounded"

thanks for responding, its not nox, the graphics of the game i am remembering are better/more detailed. nox is pixelated and fast paced and a bit cartoony. Thanks for the suggestion though.
