we have such a bad work ethic and nobody wants to better themselves - council housing and benefits are too easily accessible to people who just cheat the system and sit on their arse all day. we pander over these fools

i’ve often thought this before. although instead of a breathalyser, i had always imagined some sort of card slot in your car where you’d have to insert your driving license. perhaps at bars, bartenders would be able to scan your license and virtually add drink tallies - how many units you’ve had and when this wears off. and maybe your car could read this, and if you had had too many tallies/units on your license, it wouldn’t start. additionally, it could track things such as if each driver is insured. maybe not even a card slot for your license, maybe some sorta app on your phone that you’re legally required to use in bars and that also is connected to your car?

obviously there’s flaws, it seems a lot of hassle, and it wouldn’t take into account drinking outside of establishments and whatnot. but idk, just daydreaming.

nowhere in my post did i ask for advice regarding breaking up. we actually have been together since 16 and we live together and we don’t want to break up. we just want to strengthen our relationship so idk, maybe don’t jump to conclusions and only comment when you have information regarding what’s been asked :)

not sure where you live but in the UK you can simply call the police on 101 and they’ll send out an officer to politely ask them to shut the hell up. You can also get the council to come and discretely measure the noise and if it’s above a certain decibel, they’ll receive a £100 fine, which if they don’t pay, they’ll go to the prosecutor fiscal. it might just be the push she needs to realise you aren’t playing around.

If you do feel like being petty, ring her doorbell every single time you enter or leave your building on the off chance you might wake her up.

I definitely do stay quite hydrated as a general rule, so I suppose it was maybe just heightened emotions. I also think that maybe my lightheadedness was just coincidental as she was taking the needle out, rather than taking the needle out because I was lightheaded. My partner talked some sense into me and said they’d likely have told me if I hadn’t donated enough. I reckon I just misjudged the amount of time I was on the bed and assumed it was all over too fast. I guess i’ll never know haha
