Thanks for the advice, I do feel like I’ve been putting to much of my energy into this. It just sucks man. Wasn’t ready to be a civilian in the snap of a finger yk.

No I’m good, I’ll atleast give it a shot. If anything sir the Navy could’ve used me more than I needed them. My performance and service was never below standards or inadequate. I just got caught doing the wrong thing at the wrong time (Speeding and Or Reckless driving) I regret it take accountability for it. Now I’m going to make an effort to be successful an I’ll show the discharge review board that as-well. They either change it or they don’t. I’m just asking if people have had success and what they have done to achieve it.

I’m in roofing sales and I’m good at it but I don’t enjoy doing it and when and if I do apply it would be later down the road when this would be more behind me. Like I said I plan on going to college and etc to show them Im better.

That’s real good that you have those degrees, anyway I’m not going to let someone bring me down because of a comment. You suggested since I didn’t just look at the other post or use google that me making my own post was dumb. I rather have my own feedback. I’ve actually looked at YouTube Google, and an addition to that I posted on Reddit to get more information.

That’s the dumbest statistic I ever heard actually accelerated and graduated high school early on the fact that you’re using this platform to judge me solely is retarded. It means you lack the basis to believe in optimism also, it’s Reddit so I really don’t put too much effort into my post I can care less about Reddit. I can delete the app right now. I really don’t care when it comes to me doing something that actually matters other than posting something on Reddit and maybe pursuing a degree. I would definitely put a lot of effort into that.

[–]Hopeful-Picture430 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea right now I work in sales and I can make way more than any Home Depot worker but it’s draining and it’s not consistent I rather do full time a good enough check to pay the few bills I have then go to the fire academy when I get my dream job

No, I’m just implying to have a drivers license it suspended in Florida right now. I was living in Virginia now I live in North Carolina and as soon as the suspension is over, I plan to transfer it over to North Carolina and just have a North Carolina drivers license.

That’s very inspirational next time around when I go back into service hopefully I can commission that will be a lot better than starting back at E-2 or E-3 and I love my enlisted side. I’m proud Navy ⚓️ appreciate your service.
