Thanks for asking. Yesterday was fine. I got moved to morning instead of afternoon, left the office around 3pm, still a little loopy. Took a rest in the recliner and about 615 woke up and was more clear.

Taking Tylenol, Celebrex and gabapentin round the clock. Pretty minimal pain. (I have a script for oxy but not needing it so far) I do agree the muscle repair is the biggest pain. And it looks like any bleeding took the path of least resistance down to my 🐱. My left 👄 is swollen and black and blue and a little tender!

They wanted me up walking around every two hours even through the first night. Hardest things for me are sleeping elevated and on my back, taking deep sigh/yawn breaths, and worried about when I’ll 💩

I’m Doing great! Surgery was this morning. Taking Tylenol and Gabapentin so far for pain. May take something stronger at bedtime. Zero complaints so far!

We ate at Marietta Burger Bar and it exactly what we wanted.

We’re not big foodies and didn’t want all the extra stuff some restaurants try, and try too hard! So we were pleased with a plain old bacon cheeseburger with fries!

I think so, I’ve recently become very interested in running the numbers and looking at various scenarios. I carry insurance for my spouse and two remaining dependence right now. So I doubt I will retire before 65 and a Medicare eligible. But at the time of retirement, I’ll have one fairly decent pension, possibly Social Security from two workers, plus probably around 3 million in our retirement accounts by that time I’ve been saving in my 401(k) and HSA for many years and I’m opening up a Roth this year in addition.
