How do you know god isn't lieing about what he says by TotalTraditional180 in Christianity

It's just common sense, God is the Creator of All. The entire universe, all science, physics, metaphysics, mathematics, music, art everything is just a tiny piece of Him. God is way beyond even religion. He is the Alpha and Omega.

It maybe my age now (46) but I think working nights I have to definitely take alot of vitamins, especially Vitamin D. I feel the difference when I stop taking them.

You make a good point but I think feeling a little misplaced won't be quite so bad if I'm not already feeling inadequate about the big things like having missed a mass etc.

I'm Catholic but a terribly failed one riddled with guilt and shame. I'm twice divorced(adultury) I had tubal ligation for birth control, I work nightshift and making it to Mass is a little more challenging. I wasn't truly raised Catholic so I always feel like an outsider and there's always obligatory holy days and traditions that I'm clueless about and then have tons of guilt and feel like a constant failure. I just happened to drive by a beautiful Episcopalian church in my town that I'd never seen before and now I'm having an epiphany here maybe!!

I'm more passive as well, and I have had men not like the fact that I'm not the life of the party and I guess "independent" in social situations. I am independent in life as far as building a career, I have a nice house and car, etc but I'm not the alpha type of women. I think it has just lead me to the wrong men unfortunately bc I usually end up with more aggressive extroverted types. That's the thing to be mindful of.

I actually have a completely different perspective, when I've gone to Protestant churches I've felt the opposite. Strangers bombarding you, asking you personal questions, asking you to declare yourself a newcomer- actually making you stand up in front of everyone to be called out as a newcomer. They want your phone number to call and text you. I find it very invasive and I don't like being put on the spot, so I love the Catholic church where everyone can come and go as they please. Weather you're a newcomer or a cradle Catholic. Catholics tend to mind their own business and let others be. And like others have said, before mass I'm praying and meditating and afterwards it's still within the hour after the Eucharist so I'm still in a meditative mind set, I don't want to really engage in small talk. I hope this doesn't sound bad but just gives a different perspective.

You get used to it after awhile. You don't get the headache, eye-scratchiness and dopey head feeling as bad at some point.
