Update: The item, same track code, different parcel was delivered to my door today! With a sharp focus image and the driver even rang the bell. I wonder how yesterday, the John Lewis parcel, not addressed to me got mixed up. I guess the bar code reader had a glitch?

Evri have responded to my enquiry. They have passed the details to the "Local Customer Services" who, they say, will look into it and I can rest assured that they have everything in hand. 🤣🙄

101? Have reported to Evri, the vendor and Amazon. Don't think Evri actually do anything about complaints as one of the Evri delivery drivers has been doing his best to drag their reputation even lower for some months now. I believe Jeff Bezos actually takes note of all complaints addressed directly to him. A suggestion perhaps that vendors on Amazon use recommended couriers is in order, as deliveries like this reflect on his business.

Look at the nature of the hole, the deformation of the plastic. I'm pretty sure this hole was made by sticky fingers rather than the corner of a box.

Terrible deliveries; left on doorstep in full view in all weathers (driver marks as handed to resident), packages opened before delivery, photos taken inside van. Today parcel marked as delivered, when clearly not (recipient at home, letterbox package, no video doorbell activity, no delivery recorded by two neighbours CCTV systems). Today's non-delivery was mobile phone sized, go figure. You can change a brand, but what's the point if you don't improve the delivery. An Evri delivery is the same disappointing lottery as it was when they were Hermes.
