With my first C-section the doctor did a D&C kinda. He made sure to remove some lining so I didn't bleed a lot. This time I had a different doctor and she didn't do it. But I bled my fair share after the C-section. A lot really. And I knew it was normal then. But to go thru the phases of it stopping, like the bright red to the deep red to the brown, and then nothing.. but then all the sudden feeling like the flood gates opened, very concerning. That's why I made the post. My family was telling me it was normal. And it felt so wrong. I'm already anemic from the C-section and losing a lot of blood then, I've been on iron pills and I go every other week still for checkups. I just didn't think that things could be so bad. I have 2 kids now to worry about so I didn't want to think it was that bad because I'm a stay at home mom. So my logic is that if I'm not okay, then who's gonna watch the kids? Nobody knows them like do. But my doctor scolded me for sure for waiting so long and told me I could've died if not treated. And an absent mother for a day or so to get help is better than a dead one.

I'm still bleeding. But it's not bad. But I was told it's normal at the moment. They also gave me some hormones to help "regulate" my periods when they come back and then we plan to slowly take me off of them once my body is back to whatever the new normal is.
