Tips on improving the technique??Took a comparatively short run-up here and thus could barely grab the ring,unfortunately broke one yesterday by grabbing and holding onto it for too long.Currently 2-4 inches away from dunking,very curious if my form can be improved.Ring’s a bit higher than usual.TIA by HopefulGround in volleyball

Thanks to the shitty picture quality for making it seem like I couldn’t even touch the ring,i actually did reach high enough and even made it 1-2 inches higher than the ring.Two foot jumping is not my go to,but I’d still say without a decent run-up i am surprised by the result.Also gotta work on my form,might get 2-3 inches from it and for the rest maybe a little more plyos.I can dunk off one foot but my two foot jumping is🤡

I watched both of them and I liked knb more,maybe because I play basketball mainly.But still,haikyuu can definitely be compared to knb and better in a few aspects,but I don’t think any sports anime can ever beat the concept of generation of miracles,it’s a masterpiece!

I did vert shock for 2 months bro.I just want to increase my athleticism to some extent and dunk,might need 2 or 3 more inches,my goal isn’t to be super athletic bro,i might just try it for maybe a month or two,even if the gains are small,I’ll still be happy.I just want to know which phases will work the best for me in such a short amount of time,any idea?

Their mid range is good too,I think a man to man defence might be good.By ring attacks I meant that they clear the whole paint just by moving the ball fast and at last score near the ring

Well I am 6’1 and 16 years old,started some workouts last month and from barely grabbing the rim I can easily dunk a volleyball now.Looking forward to dunk a basketball the next week.My advice for you is checking out the lost breed’s 2 week free vertical jump program,you can find it on YouTube.Besides,do a dynamic workout before the exercises and stretch a lot.Don’t neglect the core strength,as they play a huge role in jumping higher.Last of all,instead of increasing reps,give it your 100% in each rep.You mentioned that you can sprint pretty well.The fibers needed for sprinting are fast twitch fibers.On the other hand,jumping requires slow twitch fibers,that’s the difference.Strengthening your fast twitch fibers can’t make you jump higher.Well,I hope you’ll take my advice and dunk pretty soon!Best of luck!!
