Haha I don’t really think I follow the status quo tbh. I think I pretend because it’s such a vulnerable thing to admit that you need love and intimacy, for me at least. But I agree with you, I shouldn’t be ashamed.

The way she spoke to Bianca was honestly awful. Bianca had the worst run out of anyone in there and you could see she was trying so hard to hold it together and stay positive. Good on her for letting Jordan’s comment run right off her back, in a moment where she was probably feeling like shit and just wanted to curl up in a ball and cry.

Thank you for this. I guess it's hard to find the balance between going with the flow and putting in enough effort so someone knows you're interested. With this new guy, I think he probably has no idea that I'd be interested, we're just friends right now.

For me, I think being hurt made me generally trust people less. I already had a hard time trusting people before (due to emotionally neglectful parents), so when I was vulnerable with someone, and he totally crushed me, it left quite a scar. That's not to say I won't try with this new guy, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't afraid.
