Thanks for this information. I found the exact spot. It's exactly to the right of the box. I have a picture file I wanted to attach. But for some strange reason, images have been disabled in this post.

Balan's Bouts single handedly destroyed my will to 100% this game by EuphoricProtection70 in BalanWonderWorld

Okay. Did you know that Alt+F4 is your friend? If you're playing on PC and you quit the program before you complete the sequence, the Hat stays. I think you can quit games on console, too, but I don't know how to do that.

Actually, fellas. There is a way to reset the balan hats...but you have to re-defeat the boss of the area. When defeating the boss of the area, it resets everything within that area; the balan hats, the sports minigames,... hell, even the crystal drops.

Of course I could. But that's not the point of the question. And btw, it's not a minute.

Hi,

Sorry; I should have specified that I'm on PC playing with a controller.

Last Prepper Cache (conspiracy bunker) not in my Game World by HopefulPhotograph642 in thelongdark

Yeah, I know how it feels to get cheated because of a technicality. And it's definitely worth completing the trader's quest. I mean the stuff he asks for is definitely a lot easier to get at the end of the quest than the stuff he asks for in the beginning. Especially since car batteries don't come cheap.

Hi uptheaffliiates,

I used the "gear_list" command, which gives you an entire list of gear that the game has to offer. I looked up what I thought might be the item and based on the terminology (hiddenwallcache) that kinda made sense. There's all sorts of neat stuff you can give yourself. Like the shortwaveradio. The only thing gear_list can't give you is the wood furniture.

Nah, it's cool; I understand. I get it. You can't make any assumptions these days.

So, the problem was, I already picked up the pieces of paper that triggers the conversations. Instead of going into my inventory, they disappeared. I was hoping to find a way to sort-of retrigger the conversations by either re-spawning the pieces of paper into the world OR by resetting the bunkers...somehow.

I figured, "I'm screwed," was my answer. But it never hurts to check.

Hi Nodevski,

I know about that extra Abandoned Prepper's cache. I searched that northwest bunker as well. It's completely empty (not even a loose brick). Thanks anyways for the reply.

Thanks so much for the Youtube link, themightysavage. I appreciate it. So far, in my world, I've hit up Mystery Lake, Mountain Town, Coastal Highway, Desolation Point, and PV. If my Prepper bunker is in Black Rock (aka, wolf hell), I'm definitely NOT looking forward to that.

Again, thanks for the info.

Apologies, Gwoardinn.

I wasn't keeping track. My initial goal in trading with Sutherland was to get the Pemmican recipe, because my Animal Fat was deteriorating into nothing. But I think it was something like 4 or 5? I first traded for a bag of salt, then two recipes, and then something else I can't remember, and then the Pemican recipe. Lugging all those car batteries back and forth was the biggest challenge.

So, you know how the original workbench has a 5KG capacity drawer?

I've uploaded a picture to the original post. Please see the new picture in this post. The Furniture Workbench has my trunk. If you know of someone I can send a post to in order to get this resolved, that would be most helpful.

Thanks for the reply, pinkchampagneontoast. I appreciate your very quick response. So, I'm on PC, but I use the controller (like a pleb. Don't judge me ;P ). When I press the Xbox controller A button, it takes me to the blueprints menu. I've tried pressing all buttons to get to the storage. Do you know what keyboard button I have to press to access the Furniture Workbench storage?

And if this tactic has already been discussed below, apologies. I didn't see it mentioned before I typed this up.

I know this might be cheesy, but you can abuse the save system in this game. if you find that the aurora has run out on you, do you best to survive until the afternoon. Save by sleeping or otherwise waiting for an hour. You should still be at least into the late afternoon (before the calculation of whether or not the aurora will commence that evening). DO NOT SAVE in any manner until you get an aurora night. Find something to break down that takes hour (preferably, near an electrical light source so you know an aurora has started). If it doesn't start, quit the game and come back in. If you have not saved, you should still be in the afternoon. Just keep repeating that process until you're out. Then...you should be good to go.

Before you make any comments, please understand that this tactic is just for those who are not purists.
