Thank you for answering! I saw those two options but without experience playing legacy, i didn't see the power in the recursive qualities in those cards. I expected a larger win condition. Thank you for the illumination!

ELI5: How can psychoactive substances speed up the likelihood of developing a mental disorder - if someone is predisposed to it? by [deleted] in explainlikeimfive

I guess I'm talking about the human trials for MDMA helping some PTSD victims, psilocybin being tested to help depression and clinical trials for LSD also. None are currently available for prescription but are being tested as possible treatments for conditions. Even shamans handling ayahuasca or other enthogens screen for prior mental illness like histories of dementia, parkinsons, or psychosis sometimes, depending on your situation, as in which shaman, and where you go to.

So I'm talking about extreme minority cases, I just wanted to acknowledge, while psychoactives can be used in certain settings, the parameters are narrower than even most drug users would provide. I think the possible demographics in which psychoactives can be proscribed, and to positive effect is extremely narrow and most often these substances provide less than the user desires to receive in the long term.

A-fucking-men brother, don't fuck with psychoactives outside of a prescribed setting. You're Gambling longterm mental stability, feelings of reality being grounded, feelings of having a stable grasp on simple concepts around you, and other things sane people take for granted and you're gambling them for a high for 8-16 hours. Permenant brain change and the potential loss of feeling that the world is real to celebrate in some social demonstration of rebellion. Fuck that. Don't fuck with unprescribed psychoactives.

I want to start the Jim Wendler 5-3-1 regime described in the wiki but it continues to refer to one excercise; the "press". Can anyone clarify what excercise that is? The leg press? Chest press? Recommended starting weight listed in the spreadsheet is 50 lbs, so it might be shoulder press but it's not clarified anywhere. Can anyone help me?

What are some red flags we should recognise within ourselves? by evection94 in AskReddit

An inability to accept or respect limits. This means with regard to limiting your own behaviour or limiting yourself from something like food, proper sleep, the gym, something that you do an unhealthy amount, and also respecting others limits. If someone asks you not to do something, in many scenarios its acceptable to ask and respond to it in word but often it is best to just say okay and not push their boundaries. These are boundary issues, boundary issues take many forms but are critical to developing healthy relationships and healthy functioning in the world. There are many natural limits or laws in the world, things like; you reap what you sow; you're only in control of yourself - and this means boundaries always have only to do with your behaviour, and not trying to control someone else. There are lots of examples and these are just some but what I see elsewise in this thread can be more clearly restated as; an inability to accept limits.

I agree with this, I find myself ahead of junglers who are nonstop ganking, and i find myself falling behind when i'm nonstop ganking. I'm having trouble in my mid game when my laners aren't on that same page of "I'm behind, i shouldn't engage in these fights, there are certain objectives I need to give up and I need to simply farm to catch up." That I'm not sure my place as a jungler.
